In the matter of education in Russia, Simatex participates in meetings in Sri Lanka

On 2nd March, the official and specialized delegation from the RUDN University and Simatex Company were greeted with garland of flowers and exceptional honor in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

During the auspicious meeting, a crucial trilateral agreement was successfully signed between PFUR, SIMATEX and Campus REC on mutually beneficial and advantageous cooperation in the field of education. Joint educational programs between REC and well acclaimed Russian universities were discussed.

On 3th of February, SIMATEX and Minister of Education in Sri Lanka were having a fruitful and lively discussion regarding the affiliation and cooperation in the field of education at a formal meeting.

During the key meeting, they discussed joint work, various aspects of bilateral educational cooperation and numerous issues of mutual interest. Simatex is the prime and major recruiting partner for Sri Lankan students in esteemed Russian universities.

On the third day of the proper working visit to Sri Lanka, several pivotal and significant meetings were organized between RUDN University, SIMATEX, Lasanta Amarakun, Director of the REC campus.

A great deal of high-priority and fundamental issues related to student development between the two countries, exchange of student and superior educational programs were discussed with the honourable Mahindra Rajapaksa, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.

Together with the Minister of Health and the Chairman of the Medical Council of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, an important and critical issue was raised regarding the recognition of RUDN University and its' academic diplomas in Sri Lanka. Consequently, a consequential and wise decision was made to recognize a first-class Russian university, which contributes to the great demand for higher education in Russia among Sri Lankan students, this is an important and remarkable way for interaction between Russia and Sri Lanka. We were pleased to have Professor Janita A. Liyanage, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation joined us in this splendid occasion.

On the same day, a round table meeting was held with the active participation of bright graduates from Sri Lanka, who studied at Russian and Soviet universities. They shared their wonderful and extraordinary impressions of studying in Russia and the five-star quality of Russian education.
